The informational meeting scheduled for Monday, April 27 between the Traer City Council and the Traer Municipal Utlities has again been postponed. The lawyer, Mr. Cmelek, had a conflicting appointment and was unable to attend the meeting.
The meeting has been rescheduled to take place during the regular City Council meeting scheduled for Monday, May 4 at 7:00 p.m.
The meeting was orginally scheduled by Mayor Russell Drinovsky, to inform the City Council what has been done to day to municipalize the gas service in Traer.
The meeting was cancelled and then rescheduled after the City Council voted three to two to allow TMU to continue to investigate and obtain information on the cost to acquire the system from Alliant.
