North Tama receives audit report

Nolte, Coreman & Johnson P.C. today released an audit report on the North Tama County Community School District in Traer, Iowa.

The District's revenue totaled $5,745,820 for the year ended June 30, 2008, a 3.19 percent increase from the prior year. Revenues included $2,190,617.00 in local tax, $2,121,281.00 in unrestricted state grants, charges for service of $656,089.00, operating grants, contributions and restricted interest of $716,111.00, capital grants, contributions and restricted interest of $22,741.00, unrestricted interest of $16,583.00, and other general revenue of $22,573.00.

Expenses for District operations totaled $5,349,361.00 a 2.23 percent increase from the prior year. Expenses included $2,078,559.00 for regular instruction, $609,427.00 for special instruction and $579,107.00 for administration services.
