Adam and Ellen Stoakes of rural Clutier, are happy to announce the birth of their child. Liam Keaton Stoakes was born at 7:41 a.m. on May 23, 2009 at Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo. He weighed seven pounds and three ounces and measured 19 3/4 inches in length.
Grandparents are David and Irene Podhajsky of Clutier, Roger and Pat Stoakes of Cedar Rapids and Dan and Jane Folkenstein of Rockhill, S.C.
Great-grandparents are Lois Podhajsky of Toledo, Richard Light of Brainerd, Minn., and Bea Light of Rockhill, S.C.
