August 5, 2009
Traer Star-Clipper

A Silent Veteran's Parade kicked off Clutier Fun Days this year on Friday, July 31. A group of veterans from all over the county marched down Main Street in Clutier where a prayer was given to honor those who served our country and those who made the ultimate sacrifice with their lives. Arnold Vileta, 100 years old, was the honored guest at the parade. Vileta is the oldest living veteran in Tama County. Vileta is a veteran of WW II.
