The Lady Redhawks defeated Iowa Star conference rival-CAL(Lattimer) in a high hitting match 3-0 Tuesday, September 22. Remarkably, all three games had the same outcome, 25-23, 25-23, and 25-23. The Redhawks set a team hitting record for the night with 43 Kills, led by junior Erin Herink with 21 kills out of 40 attempts with 7 errors, followed by Kelsey Upah with 15 kills out of 26 attempts with 3 errors, Alex Oletski with 3 kills out of 18 attempts with 4 errors, Amanda Hoeg with 2 kills out of 2 attempts and no errors, and Amanda Howard with 2 kills out of 8 attempts with no errors. Serving aces for the night were Kelsey Upah -4, Erin Herink-3, Amanda Howard -1, Morgan Halupnick-1.

On Thursday, September 24, the Redhawks hosted Northeast Hamilton (Blairsburg). Northeast Hamilton dominated the match, winning in 3 games, 25-15, 25-7, and 25-12.

September 26, the Redhawks traveled to their last weekend tournament of the season to Tama. This was an eight team competition including Union (LaPorte City), East Marshall, Sumner/Fredricksburg, South Tama, Grinnell, Saydell, North Tama, and Hudson. The lady Redhawks defeated Hudson 2-0 with scores and Saydell 2-0. The Redhawks were narrowly defeated by Grinnell 2-1 with scores of 21-19 (Grinnell), 21-14 (North Tama) and 15-8 (Grinnell). Finishing second in their pool, the Redhawks faced the first place team in the opposite pool-South Tama. In a close battle of the North vs the South, South Tama defeated North Tama 2-0 with scores of 23-21, and 29-27.
