Parents of the couple are Dennis and Nancy Yuska of Traer and Eloisa Kern of Wanaque, New Jersey.
Father Michael Phillips performed the 1:00 p.m. ceremony and mass at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Iowa City.
Matron of honor was Jennifer Cape, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Amanda Miranda, sister-in-law of the groom, Amber Gartner, Catherine Krapf, Elizabeth Koch, and Tera Bernard, friends of the bride.
Best man was John Miranda, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Nicolas Kern, brother of the groom, Tim Yuska, brother of the bride, Neil Kresge, Michael Sartori, and Scott Lloyd, friends of the groom. Flower girl was Talia Cape, niece of the bride. Ring bearer was Cayden Sartori, friend of the groom.
Seating guests were Brian Kelly, cousin of the bride, and Doug Yansky, friend of the groom.
Scripture readers were Genna Silva, godmother of the groom, Dianne Aslesen, aunt of the bride, and Teri Kelly, aunt of the bride.
Dinner and dance were held at the Sheraton Iowa City Hotel with Bruce and Bev Gartner as host couple.
The bride is a teacher of the deaf at the New York School for the Deaf, White Plains, N.Y. The groom is a software engineer at Siemens, Tarrytown, NY. The couple are at home in Tarrytown, N.Y.
