The Individual Speech Students at North Tama along with the Speech Students at Dike-New Hartford worked as student roomchairs at The Allstate Iowa High School Individual Speech Festival in Cedar Falls, on Monday, March 29th. The Allstate Festival is a statewide celebration where students from all over the state come to perform their speeches. Six percent of students who start at District speech are nominated to Allstate. The students worked very hard helping the room chairs and the Guest Critics. Craig Ihnen, Executive Director of the IHSSA in his thank you letter to the students wrote "What a great job you did at being our student roomchairs. Because of your work the Festival was a super success." The highlight of the day was watching North Tama's own Nora Seda perform her After Dinner Speech.

This was Nora's first year in Individual Speech which makes her nomination even more impressive.
