Corrine S. Eddy, 69 of Dysart died May 11, 2010 at Covenant Medical Center of natural causes. Services were held May 15 at Calvary Baptist Church in Dysart with burial at the Greenwood Cemetery in Cedar Falls.
Corrine Sue Eddy was born January 1, 1941 at Menlo, the daughter of John Calvin and Florence Weikert Eddy. She received her education in the Dysart Schools and made her home with her parents in Dysart. Corrine enjoyed visiting with family and friends and especially enjoyed the Wednesday ladies tea at Sunnycrest Care Center, Thursday mornings at the Tea Room, Friday's visits at the beauty shop, Red Lobster, Shopping, Knitting and Sunday church services at Calvary Baptist Church followed by a trip to the Pizza Ranch in Vinton. She also enjoyed her dog Cody and in her early years the trip with her parents to Waterville, Minn. fishing. After the death of her parents she remained in the family home until early 2010 when she entered the Sunnycrest Care Center. Corrine's death came on Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at the Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo at the age of 69 years. She was preceded in death by her father in 1990 and her mother in 2006. She is survived by an Uncle and several cousins.
