Richard Linhart was surprised by his children at a birthday dinner at the Colony Inn, Main Amana on Sunday, May 23. His son, Robert flew home from Denver, Colo to surprise Richard for his 80th birthday. Others in attendance were Gloria (Karl) Ketter, Nancy (Roger) Downing, Diane Kayser, Al and Joe Lohmann, eight grandchildren, Ila and Duane Yung of Clutier, Wesley and Pat Linhart of Marshalltown and Helen Linhart of Dysart. Everyone enjoyed dinner followed by birthday cake.
