Marvin B. Williams, 70 of Toledo formerly of Garwin died Friday, September 3, 2010 at the Belle Plaine Nursing and Rehab Center in Belle Plaine after a short illness. Services were held September 7 at Overton Funeral Home in Garwin with burial at Garwin Cemetery.

Marvin B. Williams was born June 1, 1940 at Montour, the son of John and Hilda Ballhorn Williams. He received his education at Garwin where he graduated from high school in 1958. He then began working at Benskin Motor service where he was employed for nearly 40 years until ill health forced his retirement. In 1969 he was married to Kristy Wolfe and they later divorced. For the past 10 years he has made his home in Toledo and more recently has been a resident at the Belle Plaine Nursing and Rehab Center. Marvin's death came at the care center on Friday, September 3, 2010 at the age of 70 years. He is survived by one daughter Tara (Raymond) Davis of Ladora and 6 grandchildren.
