On Saturday, September 25, more than 400 patrons participated in Dysart's 6th Annual Iowa Wine and Beer Tasting Fall Festival. The light rain and cool temperature did not deter the festival's guests from going to each business on Main Street for wine tasting. Patrons tasted wine from Blue Stem Winery, Cedar Ridge Winery, Eagle City Winery, Englebrecht Family Winery, Fireside Winery, Fox Ridge Winery, Heartland Harvest Winery, John Ernest Vineyard and Winery, Penoach Winery, Stone Cliff Winery, Summerset Winery, and Tassel Ridge Winery. Patrons tasted beer from Hub City Brewery. Black Velvet Elvis provided music throughout the evening. Food vendors and speciality booths were set up for the patron's interest and enjoyment. Despite the light rain, there were hayrides using a wagon; a boat was not needed. Pam Thiele from Photography by Pamela mingled among the guests taking pictures of the evening's activities. The Fall Festival Committee appreciates all the patrons who braved the weather, the Iowa wineries and brewery that poured their wines and beer, the local sponsors, the DDC, Dysart Business Builders, The H.A.T. Team, vendors, tractor driver, the businesses who opened their doors to host the event and the countless number of volunteers who have made this event a success every year. Laughter, conversation, seeing friends and neighbors, and meeting new people marked an evening filled with enjoyment for all those who attended Dysart's 6th Annual Iowa Wine and Beer Tasting Fall Festival.
