North Tama's JV team took on Don Bosco last Monday claiming another win to add to their undefeated season. This JV squad is not only undefeated, but haven't let a point be scored against them, and it wasn't any different on Monday.
North Tama forced a fumble and recovered it in the first quarter, however the quarter ended with the game still tied 0-0. During the second quarter the Redhawks forced another fumble which led to the first score of the game. Quarterback Dalton Hulme scored on a nice run and Tanner Swanger added the PAT. The first half ended with the Redhawks ahead 7-0.
North Tama came out even stronger in the third quarter scoring two more touchdowns and also forced another interception. The 1st touchdown of the second half was on another run by Dalton Hulme. The Redhawks also converted a two-point conversion on a pass to Clayton Blocker. The next touchdown was on a very nice pass from Hulme to Clayton Blocker, with the PAT kick good from Tanner Swanger. The last score of the game was again by the pass from Hulme to Blocker. The game ended 29-0, keeping the season of shut outs alive.
The JV team completed their season on Monday in a game against Belle Plaine, check in next weeks paper for the game summary.
