Dear Editor:
My name is Steve Dodd. My father, Robert Lester Dodd, was raised in Traer and graduated from Traer High School around 1941. He subsequently joined the Navy during WWII, and was later admitted into the United State Naval Academy. His parents were Olive Shope Dodd and Lester Newton Dodd. He was an only child.
I would like to hear from anyone who still lives in the Traer area who might remember my father (or grandparents). My father was deceased in 1983, and I have very little information about his early background.
