With the current economy many parents of seniors are having concerns about how their son or daughter is going to pay for college. The good news is there is financial aid out there.
Please mark your calendar and plan to attend Senior Financial Aid Night. This most informative financial aid meeting will be held in the Community Room of the Traer Public Library, Monday, January 17, at 7:00 PM. The Community Room is in the basement and an elevator is available. Financial Aid applications are accepted for post-secondary schools after January 1. Parents of high school seniors are encouraged to attend.
North Tama has invited a representative from the Iowa Student Loan College Access Network (ICAN) to visit with our seniors and their parents or guardians. ICAN's mission is to supply free information, assistance, counseling, and support to college-bound students and their families. The representative will be able to help families in filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) if you have questions. A student MUST complete this application to qualify for financial aid and for many scholarship applications.
If you have any questions, please feel free to call Mrs. Reisner at 319-478-2265.
