TAMA-Beverly Jean Yuska, 69, of Tama passed away suddenly on Saturday, January 29, 2011 at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ with her husband and two sons at her side. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2011 at 10:30AM at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Tama with Father Michael Mescher as celebrant. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Toledo. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 4, 2011 from 4:00PM to 7:00PM at St. Patrick Catholic Church followed by a Vigil Service at 7:00PM.
Beverly was born on July 24, 1941 in Belle Plaine, to Fred & Adaline (Caslavka) Hushak. She graduated from Clutier High School in 1958 and moved to Cedar Rapids. On November 7, 1959, she was united in marriage to Ronald J. Yuska at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Clutier. They lived in Cedar Rapids for three years before returning to Tama County and making Toledo their home. In 1972, Beverly began an illustrious 28-year career at the Iowa Juvenile Home in Toledo where, upon her retirement in December 2000, she was the state institution's business manager.
Beverly was a member of CCW of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Tama. She enjoyed golf, hiking, shopping, being a snowbird at their condo in Mesa, Ariz., and spending as much time as possible with their four grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald, sons, Rodney of Atlanta, Ga., and Jeffrey (Ann) of Berthoud, Colo., parents Fred & Adaline Hushak of Traer, grandchildren, Nick, Jake, Ellie & Will Yuska of Berthoud, Colo., brother Leroy (Jini) Hushak of Worthington, Ohio, sisters Kathy Moscinski of Machesney Park, Ill., and Denyse Henery of Richardson, Texas, numerous nieces and nephews and many, many friends who will miss her dearly.
