Stella Louise (Pugh) Gladson, 69

Stella Louise (Pugh) Gladson, the daughter of the late Roy and Daisy Smith Pugh, was born April 5, 1941, in Trenton, Tenn. She entered into eternal rest February 25, 2011, at the age of 69 years. A memorial service was held on Monday, February 28, 2011, at the Rose Chapel in West Plains, Mo. On April 26, 1958, she was married in Corinth, Miss. to Stanley Lee Gladson. Before her retirement, Mrs. Gladson worked as a CNA at Sunnycrest Nursing Center in Dysart. She enjoyed crafts, collecting angels and dolls, and loved shopping for her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mrs. Gladson loved her family and friends. She was an active member of the Bethel Baptist Church of West Plains. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Stanley Gladson, of the family home; two daughters, Sandra (Sam) Haws and husband, Ron, West Plains, Mo. and Shirley Morgan and husband, Bryan, Hillsdale, Ind.; four sons, Steve Gladson and wife, Kathy, Forrest City, Stonie Gladson and wife, Joyce, Waterloo, Scott Gladson and wife, Marie, Dysart, and John Gladson and wife, Carleen, Seattle, Wash.; 20 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; two brothers, Robert Pugh and wife, Judy, Milan, Tenn., and Terry Pugh and wife, Pat, Smiths, Ala.; two sisters, Mary Lou Ray, Trenton, Tenn., and Jo Doss, Milan, Tenn.; two brothers-in-law, Cliff Gladson and wife, Darlene, Knoxville, and Don Gladson and wife, Joyce, Albia; four sisters-in-law, Sue Douthit and husband, Larry, Carol Rae and husband, Kenneth, Patricia Fillman and husband, Jerry, and Ruth Williams, all of the state of Florida; and many nieces and nephews. Her parents, one great grandson, one brother, and two sisters preceded her in death.
