Wilbert William Lamprecht, 96

Wilbert William Lamprecht, 96 died on December 27, 2010 in Walker, Minn. He formerly lived on a farm southwest of Dysart.

Wilbert was born on August 9, 1914, one of five children of George and Malena (Buttenof) Lamprecht. On March 6, 1939 he married M. Virginia Means of Vinton. In 1990 Wilbert and Virginia built a log house on Kabokona Bay, Leech Lake near Walker, Minn. and in 1993 moved from the Dysart farm to their log home where they lived until their deaths. Wilbert is preceded in death by his parents, George F. and Malena, his wife Virginia on October 28, 2001, a sister in 1931 and a brother; Norman in 2002. He is survived by his daughter, Natalie(Jerry) Fredrickson of Walker, Minn.; a sister Audrey Lenaburg of Tucson Ariz., a brother Lloyd (Carolyn) Lamprecht of Sun City, Ariz, a sister-in-law Marcia Lamprecht and nine neices and nephews. The Lamprechts were former members of the Dysart Zion Lutheran Church. Their bodies have been bequeathed to the University of Iowa Medical Center for Research.
