Before District court Judge Ian K. Thornhill:

Darin LeRoy Gray, 46, Waterloo was sentenced to a $1,250 fine and 365 days in jail of which one-half of the fine amount and all but two days of the jail sentence were suspended.

Gray was found guilty of first offense drunken driving by a District Court Jury in a trial on July 26.

He was charged on Aug. 28, 2010, at U.S. Highway 63 and N Avenue by Tama County Deputy Sheriff Lucas Dvorak.

Before Judge Denver D. Dillard:

Ryan James Mathews, 26, Dysart, entered a written guilty plea to a charge of driving while barred. He was fined $625 and sentenced to 15 days in jail with credit for 15 days already served,.

Mathews was charged at 2nd and Main streets in Traer on Sept. 25 by Tama County Deputy Sheriff Joe Quandt.

Rheannon Seeman, 28, Dysart, pled guilty to a charge of driving while barred. She was sentenced to a suspended one-year prison term, fined $625 and placed n probation for one year.

Seeman was charged on Sept. 24, 2010, at Monroe and Jefferson streets by Dysart Police officer Jason Bina.

Matthew James Hainline, 29, Marshalltown, pled guilty to 1st offense drunken driving. He was fined $1,250 and sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days already served.

Charges of possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver and failure to affix drug tax stamp were dismissed in a plea agreement according to court records.

Hainline originally charged with possession of meth and 1st offense drunken driving by Meskwaki Nation Tribal Police Officer Casey Schmidt on May 2. The charges were filed near the Meskwaki Casino parking lot west of Toledo. A County Attorney's information brought the delivery and tax stamp charges.

Tracy Jean Ryan, 43, Chelsea, entered a written guilty plea to 2nd offense drunken driving. She was sentenced to seven days in jail, fined $1,850 and placed on probation for one year. Ryan was directed to pay a $300 probation enrollment fee.

She was charged on April 24 with 3rd offense drunken driving on East 9th Street by Tama Police detective John Carr.

Before Judge Marsha A. Bergan:

James Arthur Roberts Jr., 43, Dysart, pled guilty to driving while license revoked and selling, giving, supplying alcohol to a minor.

On the driving charge, Roberts was fined $1,000 and assessed a $335 surcharge. He was charged at High and Main streets on June 17 by Toledo Police Sgt. Bob Kendall.

For supplying alcohol, Roberts was sentenced to 90 days in jail to be served concurrently with a 3rd offense drunken driving sentence in Howard County, fined $500 and assessed a $175 court surcharge.

He was cited by Dysart Police Chief Tim Ruroden after allegedly giving two beers to minors outside the Thirsty Bulldog Tavern in Dysart. Roberts had lost pool games to the minors in the bar according to court records which state the minors immediately reported to police.

Kiedis Dayton Oldbear, 18, rural Tama, pled guilty to driving while barred. He was sentenced to 180 days in jail with all but two days suspended, fined $625 and assessed a $219 court surcharge and placed on probation for one year to the 6th Judicial District Department of Correctional Services.

Oldbear was charged on July 15 at Fee Street and 1st Avenue by Toledo Police Sgt. Bob Kendall.

Before Magistrate Ann Kuhter:

Lan Xuan Nguyen, 54, Marion, was found guilty of failure to yield on entering a highway following trial. She was fined $100 plus unlisted court costs. Nguyen was charged on July 27 west of Toledo on U.S. Highway 30 by Meskwaki Nation Tribal Police.

Jennifer Lynn Monroe, 42, Marshalltown, was found guilty of possession of drug paraphernalia following trial She was assessed a fine and court costs totaling $221. Monroe was charged on July 20 by the Tama County Sheriff's Office.
