Buckingham Boosters 4-H club held monthly meeting

The regular meeting of the Buckingham Boosters 4-H club was held on Sunday, September 18th, 2011. The pre meeting activities were finishing the club's historian book and turning in record books. The meeting was called to order by Vice President Aubree Beenken at the Heartland co-op in Traer. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Jake Hlas. Roll call was answered by 17 members naming their favorite sport. The minutes of the previous meeting were read by Ryan Snider. Mallory Espenscheid made a motion to approve the minutes as read and Sierra Kubik seconded the motion. Aubree Beenken gave the Treasurer's report. The current account balance is $677.50. Levi Beenken made a motion to approve the Treasurer's report and Aaron Snider seconded the motion. On September 27th and 29th the club will have a table set up at school to promote our club for prospective members. Mallory Espenscheid and Aubree Beenken will work at the table on the 27th and Sierra Kubik and Carly Ackman will work on the 29th. Angie said that this year's enrollment will be done by computer at the next meeting. The club held the election of officers. The new officers are: President, Mallory Espenscheid, Vice President, Ryan Snider, Secretary, Sierra Kubik, Treasurer, Landon Calderwood, Reporter, Aubree Beenken, and Photographer, Carly Ackman. The next meeting will be held on October 2, 2011, at 2:30p.m. with ditch cleanup at the old Blessings church on Highway 63 with a meeting to follow at the Co-op. Aubree and A.J Beenken hosted the meeting. Vice President Aubree Beenken adjourned the meeting. Levi Beenken led the 4-H pledge.
