The Women's Society of St. Paul Church has completed a very successful year! Each month, they have celebrated the month's birthdays of Sunrise Hill nursing home residents with entertainment and a gift for the honorees. They have had a Cookie Sale on December 3 which was well supported by community members. All parish women were invited to the Christmas party on December 5, and many enjoyed the delicious meal and the card game, Court Whist. Over fifty layettes were donated locally to those in need. Funeral dinners were served for about 10 parish members. The next year will start out with a Sewing Day on January 9 at 9am in the parish center. We will continue our work on making blankets and quilts for the layettes. Hope to see you all there.
