Judy E. Vaughn, 69, of Belleville, Ill., formerly of Buckingham, died Thursday, March 29, at Belleville Memorial Hospital of respiratory failure.
She was born June 10, 1942, in Waterloo, daughter of Melvin and Ruth Harbaugh Stephens. She married Edmund Yarrington in 1960 and they later divorced. She married Gary Lee Vaughn on March 9, 1973, in La Porte City. He died Oct. 16, 2005
Mrs. Vaughn had worked at the A&W and the Thriftway Grocery Store in La Porte City.

She is survived by two sons, Kevin Yarrington of Belleville and Randy (Lillian Mastin) Vaughn of Sumner; and 17 grandchildren.
Vaughn was preceded in death by a daughter, LeAnn Aguirre, and two sisters, Peggy Burns and Lynette Stephens
Services were held Tuesday at Geneseo United Methodist Church, with burial in Geneseo Township Cemetery. Arrangement by Locke Funeral Home (319) 233-6138 in Waterloo.
