Stoakes recognized at KSU

The American Society of Animal Science and Kansas State University recognized Sara Stoakes as an outstanding senior in animal sciences at the Kansas State College of Agriculture Awards Assembly on Sunday, April 22, 2012, in Manhattan, Kansas. The American Society of Animal Sciences (ASAS) is the professional society for animal scientists and annually recognizes the top 10% of students in the Animal Science department at Kansas State based on their grade point average. Stoakes will graduate May 12, 2012, with her undergraduate degree in animal science from Kansas State. She has been selected to receive an Interdepartmental Graduate Program in Nutritional Sciences (IGPNS) Research Assistantship at Iowa State University and plans on starting graduate work in July. Her focus in graduate school will be on animal nutritional & environmental physiology.
