Loren and Luane Lorenen of Traer will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary with a family weekend vacation. Loren Lorenzen and Luane Meggers were married June 9, 1962, at United Church of Christ in Reinbeck, Iowa.
Loren is retired from Pioneer Seed Sales and farming. Luane is retired from teaching at North Tama Community School. They reside at 1438 T Ave, Traer, Iowa.
Their family includes Ann and Charlie Flatness of Ankeny, Sue and Darren Trunck of Reinbeck, and Lora and Doug Hefty of Traer. Their eight grandchildren are Jacob, Alexandra, and Sydney Flatness; Skyler, Dillan, and Trevor Trunck; Lucas and Nolan Hefty.
