Janet Gahan Dragstrem, 75, passed away May 26, 2012. Formerly a resident of Dysart and Chicago, Janet resided in Jacksonville since 1974. She was employed for 33 years as a medical technologist at Baptist Medical Center-Jacksonville and retired in 2007.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law Julia and Donald Bonts, her grandson Christian Bonts, her daughter Jill Asher and her brothers Paul and Thomas Gahan.
A funeral mass was held at Assumption Catholic Church in Jacksonville, Florida, at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 1. Internment followed in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Dysart.
