Arp's academic excellence earns her a spot in NSCS

A former North Tama student is continuing the legacy of academic excellence at the next level. Amanda Christine Arp, of Clutier, was recently accepted into the National Society of Collegiate Scholars (NSCS).

Arp is currently a junior at the University of Northern Iowa and is majoring in English with a minor in Professional Writing.

NSCS is a member of the Association of College Honor Societies and is the nation's only interdisciplimary honors organization for first- and second-year college students. Membership is by invitation only, based on grade point average and class standing. NSCS has more than 850,000 lifetime members and 200 chapters in all 50 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico.
