Several Traer organizations receive grants at TCCF ceremony

The Tama County Community Foundation (TCCF) held its annual awards ceremony Wednesday, July 11, announcing grants in excess of $92,621 to 39 area non-profit agencies and organizations.

The TCCF assists in providing resources for a broad range of existing and future charitable needs throughout the Tama County area. Grants are awarded in the areas of: arts and culture; community affairs and development; education; environmental; health; historic preservation; and human services. The following is a complete list of grantees receiving funding from the Tama County Community Foundation.

The Tama County) Community Foundation, an affiliate of the Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa, has been created by and for the people of Tama County. The Community Foundation's main goals are to support charitable projects and programs in Tama County, to attract additional funds, and to assist donors in creating lasting legacies through a variety of giving options within Tama County.
