A pickup truck collided with a tractor-trailer carrying a full load of corn last Friday, shutting down Highway 63 north of Traer near Buckingham. The road was temporarily closed as crews from the Traer Fire Department and Tama County Sheriff's deputies worked to clear the roadway. The pickup truck sustained a decent amount of damage, as seen above. The semi fared worse, flipping on its side and spilling its load across the highway (below). Luckily, there were no injuries reported as a result of the accident.
