Ben Glenn - performer, creator and teacher - will be visiting Traer on November 7 to share his unique brand of inspiration with the community.
Diagnosed with dyslexia and other learning disabilities in grade school and as an adult, Ben will speak to North Tama students and the public about diversity, creativity and overcoming adversity.
The event, sponsored by the United Presbyterian Church of Traer, will also take place at the school earlier in the day. The public is welcome to attend the 7 p.m. event, which will be held in the North Tama gymnasium, 605 Walnut St. in Traer. Ben will be creating one of his unique works of art during the speech.

For Veterans Day, the church will be recognizing Traer veterans at a special ceremony also open to the public.
Wednesday, November 14 at 5:30 p.m. there will be a Fellowship Meal, followed by a Program at 7 p.m.
Guest speaker will be Craig White, Vietnam veteran and Honor Flight organizer.
