North Tama will host an Exploring Force and Motion Through Ramps and Pathways Workshop for Early Childhood STEM Education on Saturday, November 10 from 9 a.m. to noon.
This workshop is for teachers/caregivers of 3-year-olds to 2nd grade and is FREE! This workshop is not for children.
Location will be Lisa Chizek's classroom at North Tama Elementary, 605 Walnut St., Traer, IA 50675.
This workshop helps adults who work with children ages 3- 8 learn about forces and motion. Research shows that young children experiment to learn about the world around them. Physical science activities engage children in experimentation to figure out how things work. Participants will see videos of children using physical science materials, will experiment with the materials themselves, and will learn how to use them in their own settings.
Our workshops have been designed for teachers/caregivers of 3-year-olds to 2nd grade.
