Four NT kids selected for band festival

Four students from the North Tama High School Band have been selected to participate in the Northeast Iowa Bandmasters' Association Honor Band Festival on Saturday, December 1, 2012. These students will perform in one of two 124 piece, select ensembles made up of instrumentalists from sixty schools in Northeast Iowa.

The students will rehearse all day Saturday and present a concert at 7 p.m. in the Oelwein High School Gymnasium. The two bands will be under the direction of Mr. Russell Kramer from Mason City High School, and Dr. Andrew Mast from Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin.

The following instrumentalists from the North Tama High School Band were selected for this honor: Robert Young on trombone, Jayde Vogeler on trombone, Jessica Mason on bass clarinet and Alexis Taylor on trumpet.
