North Tama Junior High students wrote essays about why families are important for an FCCLA Families First Peer Education project of Josie Youel and Rachael Kopriva. The essays were judged by 2 HS students and 1 staff member. The winners received gift certificates to Pizza Palace to share a meal with their families! Winners included Lydia Schafer (right), 1st place; Reanna Hemenway (left), 2nd place; Ben Mason (center), 3rd place.
