Dylan Youel of Traer earned an athletic letter for outstanding participation on the Coe College Football team during the fall 2012 season.
Youel, a 2010 graduate of North Tama High School, is the son of Craig and Cindy Youel. Currently a junior at Coe, Youel is a third-year letter winner in Football.
Alex Herink of Clutier also earned an athletic letter for outstanding participation in the 2012 season.
Herink, a 2009 graduate of North Tama High School, is the son of Kevin and Tammy Herink. Currently a senior at Coe, Herink is a second-year letter winner in Football.
The football team is under the direction of fifth-year Head Coach Steve Staker. Coe completed the fourth 10-win season in school history, finishing the regular season 10-0. Staker was named the Iowa Conference Coach of the Year, while Coe placed a league-high 16 players on the All-Iowa Conference teams. Coe also had four all-region and three All-American players en route to their fourth Iowa Conference Championship.
