Theft charge filed in Traer Man. burglary case

A 32-year-old Holland, Iowa, man faces charges of 1st degree theft and 1st degree criminal mischief in connection with a burglary which occured on July 25 of last year. It was reported at the closed Traer Manufacturing plant on Traer's south side.

Jason Edward Haddeman was arrested on Jan. 28 by the Tama County Sheirff's Office following an investigation. A search warrant was issued in connection with the case on Jan. 18.

Haddeman is accused of taking part in the removal and theft of copper wire and water fountains from the plant site according to Sheriff Dennis Kucera.

He was cited, then released pending a court appearence.
