This weekend's benefit for the family of Max Morrison will feature a generous matching of up to $1,000 by the Tama County chapter of Thrivent Financial.
The county board, which decides on such matters, eagerly accepted the challenge of matching funds raised at this weekend's auction and is happy to provide this service to such an important cause.
The benefit begins at 9 a.m. in the Traer Memorial Building and will feature a silent and live auction, bake sale and much more.
