Buckingham Boosters hold April meeting

Buckingham Boosters annual April meeting was held on April 7, 2013 at the Heartland Co-Op in Traer. The meeting was called to order by Ryan Snider. The roll call question was, "What job would you like to have when you grow up?" The roll call was answered by 25 members. The minutes of the previous meeting were read by Landon Calderwood. Sam Zobel made a motion to approve the minutes as read and Jace Hlas seconded the motion. The present account balance is $1292.41. There were checks written at an amount of $120 for... and $325 for our new shirts. There was a deposit of $300 from our fundraiser at the Pizza Palace. Christy Calderwood made a motion to approve the treasurer's report and Jace Hlas seconded the motion. Committee Reports: T-shirts are in! Landon will have them at the meetings and any other event that we attend. The cost is $10 per shirt. Another order will be placed before fair if there are enough orders. Old Business: Winter Carnival was held on ... Conservation banquet... New Business: Livestock ID must be done on 4honline by May 15th. If you need to attend an FSQA Training, your last chance is on Saturday April 27 from 9:30-11:30. The May weigh-in will be on May 4th at the Fairgrounds in Gladbrook. Landon, Aubree, Carly, Ryan, and Jake will make up the committee to research prices at different parks for our club activity. Possible dates are June 18th or 20th. More informations will be at the next meeting. Leaders Report: Everyone make sure that you are reading you newsletter. It contains a lot of information that you will need to know. The club tour date has been set for June 22nd. Our hosts today are Ryan and Aaron Snider. Presentations were given by Carissa Calderwood on how to make a locker hanger from old jean pockets. The next meeting will be on May 5th. We will be meeting at the 12 mile bridge at 3 for ditch clean-up with the meeting following. Jake Hlas made a motion to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Logan Zobel.
