If you had the chance, who would you make kiss a pig? That question will be answered in just over a week when North Tama students and area residents vote in a unique fundraiser for a great cause.
On October 4, one of four (un)lucky candidates will be chosen to "Kiss a Pig" as selected by you, the voter, in an effort to raise money for the University of Iowa Children's Hospital.
North Tama superintendent Bob Cue, student body president Brandon Kaufman, history teacher & football coach Dan Oltman and community volunteer leader Tracey Hulme are the potential victims.
Voters can make their choice by placing money in the jar of the candidate they would like to see kiss the pig. Jars will be located at the main office of the school, volleyball concession stand, football games, Hometown Foods and the Traer Short Stop.
Money will be accepted through October 4, when the candidate with the most money in their jar will kiss the pig following North Tama's home football game that evening.
All proceeds will go to the University of Iowa Children's Hospital in this unique and fun-filled fundraiser.
