Donald Mitchell, 83, of Traer, died on Thursday, November 21, 2013 in Waterloo. He was born on May 18, 1930, the son of Leonard and Sylva Mitchell. He married Melba Reeves. To this union, three children were born, Vicky, Robert and Steven. Donald was employed at Titus Manufacturing, he hauled mail for the Waterloo Post Office, and worked at Rath Packing Company, John Deere and Viking Pump. He also drove cab and Waterloo City busses. Donald also owned a hauling business. His jingle was, "You call, I'll haul, the cost is small, that all, call 232-5202." Donald is survived by his wife Gertrude; his children, Robert, Vicky and Angela; and a sister, Mildred Noble. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Betty Spires; and a son, Steven.
