Buckingham Boosters hold annual meeting

The Buckingham Booster's annual November meeting was held on Sunday November 3rd, 2013 at the Heartland Co-op in Traer. The meeting was called to order by president Aubree Beenken. Aaron Snider lead the Pledge of Allegiance. The roll call question was, "What is your favorite food for Thanksgiving?" The roll call was answered by 23 members. Landon Calderwood read the minutes of the previous meeting. Samantha Zobel made a motion to approve the minutes as read, seconded by Jace Hlas. Carly Ackman gave the Treasurer's Report. The current account balance is $1,117.15. Premium checks were written at a total of $1172.69. There is a bill at a total of $38.95 to Rebecca Dostal for supplies for the potluck. Molly Kvidera made a motion to pay this bill, seconded by Aaron Snider. The club also reordered new checks. Dylan Hosek made a motion to approve the Treasurer's Report, seconded by Aaron Snider. Old Business: Dylan Hosek reported that the 4H Find Out Night was a success and was a fun time. Members need to make sure that they re-enroll online ASAP. New Business: Sam Zobel and Carissa Calderwood talked to the club about a Pioneer Grant project that our club will be partaking in. We will be helping reside the gator shed at the complex. If the we do not receive the grant, the school has funds set aside for us to complete the project. Sam Zobel, Carissa Calderwood, Tanner Calderwood, Aubree Beenken, Ryan Snider, Stan Miller, and Dylan Hosek will all serve on the committee for this project. Sam Zobel made a motion to approve this new project, seconded by Lance Zobel. Awards Day will be December 8th at 3pm at the Reing Center in Toledo. Leader's Report: If you would like to write a check for your re-enrollment, Rebecca will be willing to take it to the extension office for you. Carissa Calderwood made a motion to cancel our December and move it to January 5th, seconded by Hally Frisbee. Today's hosts are Landon and Tanner Calderwood, and Carly Ackman. Carissa Calderwood made a motion to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Michael Frisbee. Lance Zobel lead the 4H Pledge. Presentations were given today by Landon Calderwood and Carly Ackman on Soles for Souls and Tanner Calderwood on how to paint camoflague.
