NT Elementary Winter Program Dec. 18

December 13, 2013
Traer Star-Clipper

On Wednesday, December 18, North Tama Elementary School will present their annual Winter Program at 1 p.m. in the North Tama School Gym.

The program begins with song selections by the 5th and 6th Grade Bands, under the direction of Channing Halstad.

The kindergarten and first grade students will begin the vocal portion, followed by grade 2, 3, and 4 performing in a mini-musical "Making a Christmas Quilt." Mrs. Claus doesn't know what to give Santa for Christmas this year. What a dilemma! But have no fear... she calls on the elves to give her some good ideas. The result is a beautiful Christmas quilt, handmade by Mrs. Claus herself. What will it look like? You'll have to come see the show!

Grades 5 and 6 will sing next, followed by the big finale, "Singing By Candlelight" for grades K through 6. Every student in elementary will participate on this one!

The students are under the direction of Katie Heaford and Terry Shay, with piano accompaniment by Mr. Shay. Come join us for a fun afternoon of holiday music.
