North Tama Junior High School Student Council members will be putting on an "Anti-Bullying Day" on Monday, February 24th for our 7th and 8th grade students. The day will be filled with activities surrounding the issue of bullying.
We will have a guest speaker, Jim Jelinski, who previously was a school counselor and now is a featured speaker for many schools and businesses.
We will be viewing the movie Bully which has generated a great deal of buzz over the past couple of years.
Additionally, we will be having the students rotate through various breakout sessions. A few of the breakout sessions include: Upstanders vs. Bystanders, Creating an Individual Identity Chart, and a Snowball Survey.
