Hora-Machacek Auxiliary of Clutier held their monthly meeting on Tuesday, April 1st beginning at 10am at the post home. President Veronica conducted the meeting with 8 members present. Last meetings minutes were read and approved.
Treasurer Linda gave units financial report. Bill was presented by Linda for kolaches for the Foreign Food Fair and floor cleaning supplies for the hall. Pauline Sienknecht made a motion to raise amount unit pays for kolaches and seconded by Marcella Caslavka and motion carried. So a motion was made by Margaret Babinat and seconded by Eileen Hora to pay bill and motion carried.
2014-15 unit data form was discussed and dues will remain the same for next year.
Our unit will be serving the Clutier Alumni Banquet on Saturday, April 26th. Reviewed previous banquets and made choices as to salads on the salad bar and dessert to be served. Will be serving roast beef, mashed potatoes and gravy and peas and carrots combination.
Will be looking for a new electric stove to replace the stove whose oven doesn't work properly. Happy Birthday was sung to Linda Dvorak. Door prize was won by Eileen Hora.
Tama Co Government Day was reviewed which will be Wednesday April 9th to be held at Toledo Reinig Civic Center. Our unit will provide 4 dozen cookies. April 16th Tama Co will sponsor bingo at IVH. All units will be participating and starts at 2pm in the Altha DR. Escorts need to arrive at 1pm. April 19th is the IVH Spring Carnival at Malloy LRC with games 1-3pm. Helpers are needed. April 22nd is the joint county meeting in Traer beginning at 7pm. April 26th is the 3rd district conference in Parkersburg. Call to order beginning at 9am.
Our units May meeting will be on the 6th beginning at 7pm. Linda Dvorak and Mary Seda provided a delicious sandwich lunch with bundt cake for dessert.
