Clutier unit enjoys photos from Girls State

Hora-Machacek Auxiliary met on Tuesday, August 5th at the post home in Clutier. There were 10 members present. Secretary Nancy call the roll and read last months minutes. Treasurer Linda gave units financial report. Bills presented were for the food for the IVH picnic. Linda Dvorak made a loaf angel food cake. Linda Babinat made two pecan pies. Margaret Babinat furnished the tomatoes. The above was delivered to IVH by Diane Caloud. Veronica Pavlicek fried and delivered 30 chicken legs and thighs. A motion was made by Margaret Babinat and seconded by Marcella Caslavka to pay the bills Motion carried.

Discussion was regarding additional information on pocket flags, we would like to provide to our local service men and women.

Diane Caloud reported 30 paid members for the upcoming year.

Linda Babinat, girls stater, gave a show of her pictures from girls state in June. It was very enjoyable and emphasized some of the techniques she learned in speaking and greeting people.

Door prize was won by Pauline Sienknecht. Happy Birthday was sung to Nancy Cibula, Margaret Babinat, and Pauline Sienknecht.

Units next meeting will be Tuesday, September 2nd at 7pm at the post home. Our sewing days will begin on October 7th. County meeting will be in Clutier on September 23rd at the post home. Hostess was Marcella Caslavka who served delicious sandwiches and fruit bowl.
