The North Tama Redhawks traveled up Highway 63 for an out-of-district contest with the Class 1A Hudson Pirates last Friday, falling 16-0 in a defensive clash.

The Pirates (5-2) were the first team to shut out North Tama (2-5) this season. Sophomore quarterback Cael Kopriva was an efficient 7-of-12 for 86 yards, but did throw one pick in the contest.

Kyle Isenhower and Kelon Hansen combined for 44 yards rushing, and Caden Stuart was the Redhawks' leading receiver, grabbing two catches for 42 yards.

Riley Rohach led the team with 10 solo tackles on the defensive side.

The Redhawks wrap up the regular season with back-to-back home contests, facing AGWSR (6-1) this Friday and Grundy Center (1-6) on October 24. Kickoff of both games is set for 7 p.m.
