Lightning ends tough opener for NT football

North Tama was held to 25 yards of total offense in a lopsided loss at home to East Buchanan in Friday's season opener.

Redhawk quarterback Cael Kopriva ran for 15 yards and was 1-for-5 passing for 7 yards. North Tama ran just 22 plays in the loss.

Kopriva led the defense with 5.5 tackles, and Caden Stuart had 4.5. Scott Morrison recovered a fumble as well for North Tama.
