Junior quarterback Cael Kopriva ran for 50 yards and threw for 34, but the North Tama offense was held scoreless for the second time in three games in a 42-0 loss against visiting Wapsie Valley Friday night.

Nick Sierra caught four of Kopriva's passes for 32 yards, but the Redhawk offense had a tough time getting anything going. On the defensive side, Kopriva recorded seven tackles, including one for a loss.

North Tama heads to Conrad this Friday night to take on a BCLUW squad which was also held scoreless in their last contest, a 64-0 thrashing at the hands of district favorite Gladbrook-Reinbeck. The boys return home Friday, September 25 for a contest with district co-leaders Denver. Kickoff of both games is set for 7 p.m.
