Dates, contact info for Bible Reading Marathon

June 16, 2017
Traer Star-Clipper

Last year, 2016, was the first year that the Bible was read in every one of Iowa's 99 counties! Thousands participated by reading aloud at County Courthouses. This year we are expanding this reading to our cities/towns. In Tama County, this will include, Tama, Toledo, Garwin, Montour, Clutier, Chelesa, Vining, Gladbrook, Elberon, Lincoln, Traer, and Dysart. Volunteers of all ages are welcome to come and read: adults, children, senior citizens, students; all denominations, business people, civic leaders, everyone! The Bible will be divided up between those towns listed and will probably take between 7-8 hours per town.

Following are the dates, times, and locations and who to contact if you want to read. You may read for 15 minutes or a longer period of time. Depending on location you may want to bring your lawn chair and if you choose to read out your own personal Bible, bring it. Even if you would rather not read at all, come and listen as the Word of God which is alive is read into the atmosphere.
