Upon arriving on scene, Traer Fire requested assistance from neighboring departments to contain the fire.

"Our intial concern was the fire being exposed to the neighbor's house and requested assistance," Sell said. "Once we contained the fire, we went in and extinguished it to avoid any further spread. The fire was advanced when we arrived."

The west siding of the neighboring house was melted and damaged during the fire, but no injuries were reported. A resident of the neighboring home was asked to evacuate his house.
