Girls stumble in 54-31 loss to Colo-NESCO in opener

While the boys rumbled, the North Tama girls stumbled in their first game of the season, falling 54-31 to Colo-NESCO despite some strong individual performances.

Allison Zobel led the Redhawks with nine points, while also grabbing six rebounds. Josie Youel had seven points to go along with a team-high ten rebounds, and Aryn Isenhower also had seven points.

The girls will look to get things back on track with a road contest against Don Bosco Catholic in Gilbertville this Friday at 6:30 p.m.
