It's been an up-and-down season, but the North Tama girls have kicked, scratched and clawed their way back to .500 in Iowa Star Conference play.
The ladies lost a tough 48-64 contest to Meskwaki, a squad that has lost just one game all year, before beating Waterloo Christian 63-25 on Friday, January 25.
The girls had a non-conference contest against regional rival Gladbrook-Reinbeck the following day, but came up just short in a 53-61 defeat.
A Tuesday night contest against GMG looked to be very winnable, as the opposition came in to the game with a 1-12 overall record. The Redhawks beat GMG 52-22 earlier in the season.
The girls host a one-win BCLUW team on Thursday, January 31, before their final game of the regular season on February 4 at home against Dunkerton. Both games are set for a 6:30 p.m. tipoff.
