Traer Country Club gets liquor license

At the regular meeting of the Tama County Board of Supervisors Monday morning, Dan Anderson, Third District Supervisor, made a motion to appoint Dave Nitz, Tama, to the Tama County Public Health Board. Mark Patterson, Toledo, has had this position but preferred to not continue on the board. David Nitz will replace Patterson for a full term on the board.

Traer Golf and Country Club has applied for a liquor license. Having all the requirements satisfied a liquor license was approved. The priviledges of this license include a Class B Native Wine Permit, a Class C Liquor License (LC) Commercial, Outdoor Service and Sunday Sales.

The Auditor's quarterly report was reviewed and approved. The report shows $243.90 collected for maps and plat books and miscellaneous at $6.30.

Claims approved for payment for the past week came to $213,895.92.
